What is Tilly's Natural Blend?

Why raw meat?
Dogs are a direct descendant of wolves, sharing 98 to 99 percent of their gene sequences. Therefore it is only natural for a dog to consume raw meat. As with wolves, dogs have a small intestinal tract (1/2 the size of humans) and strong stomach acids with a pH of 1. These factors lead to dogs having the ability to digest raw meat (bones included) very quickly and more efficiently then process food. Raw meat is full of enzymes, vitamins, and minerals that are typically baked out of dry kibble, thus making it much healthier for dogs to consume.
Won't this be more expensive?
A typical healthy bag of dog kibble will cost in the range of 80 to 100 dollars and could last anywhere from one to two months depending on the size of your dog. Tilly’s Natural Blend comes in a ten pound bag of our dried oat and vegetable mixture for the same base price of 80 dollars that the name brand offers, the only added cost is the raw meat. One bag of Tilly’s Natural Blend plus raw meat can feed your large sized dog for two months compared to one month of name brand food. Our pets are considered a part of our family and feeding them nothing but the best and healthiest food is our number one

Where can I get raw meat?
Raw meats from your local grocer will suffice for the protein required to add to TIlly's. A great balance of protein to fat content is preferred to make for a more fulfilling meal for your dog. Additionally, meat can be purchased for pickup directly from our location.
